Dress Code

River Hall Elementary is a uniform school. The personal appearance of the student is the primary responsibility of the parent/guardian. When students are dressed appropriately for school, they realize it is time to work and learn. It is the intent of the dress code to provide our students with a feeling of school pride.

  • Polo shirts: long or short sleeve may be any SOLID color. NO writing or logos. All shirts MUST be tucked in and have a collar.
  • Pants, shorts, skirts, jumpers and capri pants must be NAVY BLUE, BROWN, BLACK, TAN/KHAKI colors only. NO denim or sweatshirt material. Shorts, skirts, jumpers and skirts are to be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.
  • Belts are suggested. Solid color sweaters or zip up sweatshirts may be worn in class or in the cafeteria, but coats are to be worn only outdoors. NO Pullover Hoodies, NO graphics, NO designs.

Administration will determine the appropriateness of anything worn to school.
